THE “HENNESSY VERY SPECIAL IN MOTION” COLLABORATION WITH LES TWINS INTRODUCES THE MAISON’S FIRST-EVER FASHION CAPSULE

For the latest Hennessy Very Special limited edition, French urban movement creators Laurent and Larry Bourgeois front a vibrant, street-led platform featuring dance, original music, and an exciting unisex fashion capsule produced with designer Stéphane Ashpool.


Maison Hennessy is pleased to unveil an exciting new facet of the Very Special limited edition in collaboration with Laurent and Larry Bourgeois. For the first time in Hennessy’s history, the urban movement creators known as “Les Twins” have redefined the brand’s artistic collaboration platform, pushing it into visionary new territory.

In addition to innovative Hennessy Very Special by Les Twins carafes — produced for the first time in two technology-led versions — this collaboration also showcases a music video starring Les Twins and their anthemic, original composition, and a collection of elevated streetwear developed with the prizewinning independent fashion designer Stéphane Ashpool, the founder of Pigalle Paris.

“It’s a real source of pride for us to be the bridge between Hennessy and fashion;
it was a perfect fit,” said Laurent and Larry Bourgeois.

“Stéphane Ashpool expresses himself with color and materials the way we do with dance — with lots of energy and flair. Hennessy really let us put it together as we wanted, with great cuts, discreet twists and some pieces that are more ‘Laurent’ or more ‘Larry’ but that will always fit perfectly with every wearer’s style.”

The Hennessy Very Special by Les Twins fashion capsule presents 15 unisex pieces reflecting the performers’ taste and keen eye for luxurious streetwear. Each item, from leather statement pieces to caps and jerseys, was produced using the finest materials and in cooperation with the most reputable ateliers in France, Portugal and the US.

Essentials include the must-have white t-shirt, in 100% Egyptian cotton jersey emblazoned with a modernized iteration of Hennessy’s emblematic bras armé revisited in dual especially for Les Twins, and the Hennessy Very Special three-star signature discreetly placed in back. On a complementary version, in black, the double bras armé appears encircled by the tagline “Hennessy in Motion by Les Twins” in black foil.

The indispensable hoodie, in American 100% cotton fleece, comes in two styles. A black vegetal-dye pullover sports the “Les Twins” bras armé. A lightly distressed zip-up hoodie comes in two versions, in soft grey or caviar black, and is embellished with raised embroidery, the Hennessy bras armé customized for Les Twins, and the artists’ nicknames — ‘Lil Beast’ (Laurent) and ‘Ca Blaze’ (Larry) — in black or white lettering along each sleeve. A subtly distressed oversized t-shirt is printed with Les Twins' nicknames.

Tailored pieces include a not-so classic button-down shirt, revisited for day and night with an oversized cut, twin patch pockets and asymmetrical “high-low” cut that is shorter in back. Like the collection’s t-shirts, the button-down shirt pairs easily with statement-making outerwear.

Special pieces include a sleeveless vest in glossy, supple lambskin with a unique lining printed with the dynamic motion capture motif and colors used in the visuals for this collaboration. Two jackets likewise offer a fresh twist on perennial favorites: A distressed denim jacket in gunmetal gray features the customized Hennessy dual bras armé in contrasting stitching on the back, while a bomber jacket — in dipped lambskin lined with the same motion capture print — fuses streetwear style and a couture sensibility. A classic cargo pant, also in leather, is cut generously through the leg and incorporates savvy design details to allow for a full range of movement.

A selection of accessories rounds out the collection: the timeless cap in gunmetal denim pops with contrasting cognac-colored embroidery, while a trendy bucket hat in black nylon presents a new variation on a street favorite. A unique colorful bandana made of 100% silk reprises the signature print for Hennessy Very Special by Les Twins. A sleek black belt bag in dipped lambskin makes a fashion-forward statement while keeping all the essentials to hand.

Styles are unisex and sizes range from XS to XL for most pieces. Prices for the Hennessy Very Special by Les Twins fashion capsule span both accessible and luxury positionings, ranging from 109 euros to 2,003 euros (recommended retail prices) for some pieces in lambskin.

ABOUT LES TWINS

Identical twins Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, 32, were born and raised in the projects in Sarcelles, outside Paris. Self-taught talents, they made a splash by dancing on the Champs-Elysées to earn pocket money while still in their teens.
